Ensure the batteries are installed properly and are charged. To check your remote control battery level, follow these instructions:
Visit the HOME SCREEN by pressing the home/TiVo button at the top of your remote control
Use your arrows to select Menu>Settings>Device Settings.
Select Remote Control Diagnostics to view remote battery level.
